MelissaChen is giving away free trial facial for facebook fans, so I put my name, and then I got the confirmation. After providing the details via email. Not a week later, the beauty consultant called me. In the same weekend, I went over for my trial facial.

The Blemish Repair Serum - I like the smell

A very basic chat with the beauty consultant, after 'scanning' my face with a huge magnifying mirror, there I go in to the room prepare for a pampering session. They have lockers for the customer to safe keep their staff (which I like most as this is the first time I see a beauty saloon provide this service).

Some of the steps that I can still recall:

4. Some product applied to prepare for extraction
5. Steaming and extraction
6. Mask
7. Moisture

Face feel clean and 'lighter', yeah I really feel that way …. and I was having some allergy reaction after misuse of some skin care product, where my whole face is full of small bumb (or white-head), the beautician carefully clean everyone of them … very patient and nice lady ...

Very basic and down to earth treatments, which actually I like it. No fancy stuff which just confusing me and not aware if that is effective or not but you already pay for it.

After that, we have a short session on after facial consultation, but I didn't sign-up for the packages that they offer as I still have some existing package with my existing facial saloon. Eventhough I didn't sign-up anything, but the beautician still give me samples to try on.

I like their service, they are very soft spoken, no hard selling, no pushy pushy threatening …

While for the sample that is for me to control my white-head to stop it from getting worse and become real breakout. However I have tried that for about 2 weeks, nothing much seems change, or maybe with the cream that's why it is now under control.

This was my out of control online group deal buys …. I was once too into buying things from group buys and ended up with multiple facial treatment deals. Which I couldn't really can 'finish' them and until the beautician called me to remind me my expiry date after I keep-on postponing the appointment.

It was intended to bring along my mummy who never has the experience of going for a facial treatment together with me, both having a pampering moment. Waiting time took less than15 minutes from the appointment time. Surprising is they didn't really check my face (that's a bit surprise me though), and treatments starts ….

The room is not well sound proof, we can hear everyone's conversation, which I don't really like though. However, besides this, I think I don't have much things to complain about. What's been written in the deal is really delivered as promised. I can see the beautician never “discounted” her effort in carrying the service even though we bought the service at a discounted price.

So, within 2 hours, I got a good facial treatment. It is very basic treatment, but with good face massage (my very first time face massage), together with good shoulder massage. My mummy likes them very much :-). The service is very down-to-earth, no fancy long name products trying to dig a big hole on your pocket, but is plain service that I can tell.

They also offer very reasonable facial treatments packages with around RM60++ of basic treatments, you can have very good relaxing pampering moment. There are also body massage package available, which is also very tempting. Sales pushing is not much, very patient and very polite stuff, thumbs up.

I bought this promotion when I was rushing for time and my brain was not working well. And further, free gift , free gift, aih …. irresistible … bad habit ….

The Treatment Room

Facial :

I know when come to promotion package facial, sure they will persuade you to add-on for something that is 'related' to you face problem.

As I was in a rush, and really no energy to stop them doing the same thing on me, I just surrender myself and pay extra RM160 (on top of the RM18 for the promotion package) for a facial treatment on my open pore  (which I know it is really getting worst day by day) instead of the original facial which is on whitening.

After the treatment, I was not very satisfied with the result, the pore just look the same, besides they were filled with 'oil' before I did the treatment (for sure mah, I was walking under the hot sun rush to the center during the most difficult hour in getting a parking in MidValley).

So, no matter how they persuade me to purchase the same treatment package, I just can't convinced myself to pay extra thousands end up buying more products and more treatment with no result.

The center is very technology savy, they have the skin analyse tool that scan your skin for all concerns, rate it, and data is safe for future reference. There's also before and after effect photos taken, just to show you the result of the facial treatment. 

I love one of my friend's comment, she has a very silky and rosy face, she never go to have facial treatment, she only D.I.Y. at home. Though, she bought all sort of expensive products for her face, but, at least you know whether that work for you or not instead of other telling you . She commented “I don't do facial at salon, they just always try to push new things to you by showing you all the bad things on your face, that make me feel very bad and lack of confident, I don't like that”. I do think home D.I.Y. is a workable way nowadays with so many good products in the market, so I should stop myself going to salon too often, besides pampering myself for a good treat of somebody else do it for you and you just lie down there do nothing :-).

I have yet started to test on the product which is meant for whitening. I was told whitening is normally very oily, because it is those dry skin type will tend to have more pigmentation problem. So, I got to wait for some time after the treatment then only start to try this sample as the treatment has done some 'harmful' stuff on my face and I need to give it a break before another round of 'treatment'.

This is my first time buying a discount voucher online, which this one is dirt cheap. I know there will be some pursuing for package sign-up, products push etc, which that's what exactly my intention at the end of the treatment, provided the service is good and the price is reasonable.

However, for my first trial, it already failed me, quite badly. I am not sure how good they treat the fully paid
